Gremy was my baby. Followed me around like a puppy. He was Sam's best friend and Sam (the dog and
housemate)was his protector whenever a stray dog scared him. It was a sight to see "Little Grem"
stood between Sam's legs at one side of my gate and a hostile dog on the other, not daring to attack
the cat !He was one of 4 kittens abandoned in my daughters garage. I hand reared all the 4 and found
homes for 3 but could'nt part with Gremy. He understood everything said to him if I let him out and
said be back in 10 mins/ miraculously he was! and was so loving. He lived to a good age and passed
away in my arms.He was never expected to live very long because he had kidney trouble, but with
medication, love and healing he lived a good life and brought great pleasure to my family. He was one
of four cats in the home but he was the baby and he knew it !One of my memories of Grem's funniest
traits was his passion for snooker ! He would sit in front of the 'telly and whenever a ball went
into the pocket he would race round to the back of the set to see if he could catch it. He had
endless patience with this game !!! God Bless Little Grem ...xxx

♥..*..*..YOUR PETS IN HEAVEN..*..*..♥

your pets in Heaven~

To have loved and then said farewell, is better than to have never loved at all.
For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you.
For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly.
For all of these things I am grateful and thankful.
I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND.
Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures.
I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging.
We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever.
You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique.
Don't hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are.

Through veils of peace may you ascend
To promised planes above
Where comfort shall await you
In those summerlands of love.
♥~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♥
Although my grief is deep and raw
Although my pain is great
I know that you are still with me
I know that you will wait.
♥~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♥
For in God's time we'll meet again
Of this I am quite sure
I loved you so much on this earth
In absence even more.

♥═══♥ FOR THOSE I HAVE LEFT BEHIND ♥═══♥

I have not gone far...I still see...
Those tears you shed...are for me...
♥=====================================♥
I am not unhappy...I am not sad...
I just thank God...For all we had...
♥=====================================♥
I did not choose...To go away...
But God told me...I couldn't stay...
♥=====================================♥
He reached for me...with loving care...
Come with me GREMY...If you dare...
♥=====================================♥
Reach out your arms...to those below...
Blow them a kiss...So they will know...
♥=====================================♥
Let the breeze of your kiss... Pass across their brow...
Let them know you are safe...and happy now...
♥====================================♥
Now dry your eyes...And remember me...
For where I am...Was meant to be...
♥====================================♥
To you that I have left behind...
The love we've shared...Will always bind...
♥====================================♥
If a breeze should pass...Across your brow...
Remember from where it came...And how...
♥====================================♥
Until we meet again one day...
I've not gone far... I am just away.

For my family with love
Right now I’m in a different place
And though we seem apart,
I’m closer than I ever was.
I’m there inside your heart.
I’m with you when you greet the day
And when the sun shines bright.
I’m there to share the sunsets too.
I’m with you every night.
I’m with you when the times are good
To share a laugh or two.
And if a tear should start to fall
I’ll still be there for you.
And when that day arrives
That we no longer are apart.
I’ll smile and hold you close to me.
Forever in my heart.

Your tears fall
Your heart aches
Your baby has gone away
Gone to heaven to play
The memories remain
Of the happy days
A meow and a purr
As you feel the soft fur
You gave your love
No more could you do
A short life of joy
For your baby and you
Off to heaven
Your angel has gone
But within your heart
The love will live on
Standing in sorrow
And in your mind's eye
Look into heaven
And please do not cry
For there in the Rainbow garden
Stands God, and in his arms
An angel softly purring
It's your baby, safe from harm.

Beyond the Rainbow

As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.

I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.

For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.

For Gremy,xxx.

~ Lend Me A Kitten ~

I will lend to you for a while
a kitten, God said.
For you to love while she lives,
and mourn when she's dead.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years,
or maybe two or three
But will you, 'till I call her back,
take care of her for me?

She'll bring her charms to gladden you
and should her stay be brief,
you'll always have her memories
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught below
I want this kitten to learn.

I've looked the whole world over
in search of teachers true,
And from the folk that crowds life's land
I have chosen you.
Now will you give her all your love,
nor think the labor vain?
Nor hate me when I come to take
my kitten home again?

And my heart replied,
"My Lord, Thy Will Be Done."
For all the joys this kitten brings,
the risk of grief I'll run.
I'll shelter her with tenderness,
I'll love her while I may
And for the happiness that I've known,
forever grateful stay.

But should you call her back
much sooner than I planned,
I'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
and try to understand.
If by my love I've managed
your wishes to achieve,
in memory of her sweet sweet love,
please help me while I grieve.

When my cherished kitten
departs this world of strife,
Please send yet another needing soul
for me to love all her life.

The gift of Life

This small and furry bundle of Joy,Looks like a tiger , a miniture toy,
He's cuddly and loving, his fur is so smooth
He's so full of life, something to prove.
His eyes are so large,so green and shiny
I feel so much love from this soul so tiny.
His illness he bears, like the soldier he is, Knowing you'll help him conquer all this.
He knows of your Love Lord, it glows from his eyes
As he basks in the sun, face tilted up to the skies.
If you take him Dear Lord and his work here is done,
He knows he'll find contentment, at peace with The One.....God Bless Little Grem...xxx
